Small Successes

FaithButton
1) We had a successful birthday party with family for Shelby. Now, onto her get-together with friends this weekend.

2) We cleaned underneath all our furniture and manually cleaned the entire carpet in our living room and in both of the kids’ bedrooms. Our house never looked so clean (and I never could have done this without Jeff’s help!).

3) I made the cheesecake I wrote about and it was awesome. Still working on the muffins! Blog post forthcoming on the cheesecake, stay tuned!

4) Despite melting in the heat, we endured very few meltdowns at the Fourth of July festival and parade. The main meltdown centered around a group of Shriners marching dressed in animal costumes. Joey was terrified.

5) I am on top of laundry. How the heck did that happen?

It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.~Danielle Bean

  1. Now that you’ve cleaned under your furniture and cleaned carpets, can you come on over to my house and do the same? 🙂 I’m glad you had another week full of small successes!

  2. Congrats on all you’ve accomplished! There’s nothing like being in a clean house with no wash piling up 🙂
    And yay for yummy cheesecake!

  3. Great job this week. While you’re house hopping to clean workmomad & Lynn’s carpets, please feel free to stop by my house too…LOL!
